Cocoon, Portugal

October 30 - November 19, 2026

90 hours – Deepening yoga technique, training & practice
Contents: Asana · Pranayama · Meditation · Mantra · Kriya · Chanting

This module focuses on developing your own yoga practice and refining your asana teaching skills. You will deepen your personal practice through daily morning satsangs – spaces for silence, meditation, breath awareness (pranayama), mantra recitation, and kriya techniques. Regular engagement with these traditional practices strengthens energetic alignment and inner clarity. A central element is the daily, advanced asana practice (between 90 and 160 minutes), which is taught with precision, power, and breath guidance. The focus here is on anatomical alignment, intelligent sequencing, and the development of deeper body awareness. You will also acquire in-depth knowledge of how to structure and teach advanced asana classes. Topics such as verbal instruction, creative sequencing, clear cueing, and energetic guidance are continuously incorporated into the practice. This module forms the foundation for safe, authentic, and inspired teaching at an advanced level.

25 hours – Teaching methodology & personal development

This module focuses on refining your teaching personality. You will deepen your didactic skills and develop an authentic, present, and effective teaching voice. In addition to learning classic teaching skills such as demonstration, verbal instruction, and physical assistance, you will learn and practice methods of presence work, group leadership, and nonverbal communication. A central goal of this module is to consciously shape your own charisma as a teacher—through vocal expression, energetic clarity, and embodied leadership. Participants will learn to consciously use voice, rhythm, and space, creating a connecting atmosphere in which yoga is not just taught but embodied. This module supports you in refining your own style and teaching with confidence, clarity, and depth.

15 hours – Anatomy & Energetics

This module provides a holistic understanding of anatomy and energetic body awareness – as a foundation for a safe, informed, and embodied asana practice. The anatomical section focuses on the functional interplay of bones, muscles, fascia, joints, and organs in yoga practice. Anatomical knowledge is not only imparted theoretically but also made directly tangible – through guided body awareness, movement exploration, and practical application in class. At the same time, the module addresses the energetic aspects of the body. Topics such as prana flow, the chakra system, nadis, bandhas, and energetic alignment are addressed in a practical and integrative manner. The goal of this module is not only to understand the body, but to experience it in its depth – as a living, intelligent system that connects physical and energetic dimensions and offers space for expression, healing, and presence.

30 hours – Yoga Philosophy & Ethics

The theory sessions offer an in-depth exploration of central philosophical texts and ethical questions in the context of yoga teaching today. The focus is on selected concepts from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita. Participants explore their significance in the light of modern practice, individual development, and social responsibility. Classical philosophy is complemented by elements from contemporary mindfulness practice, psychological self-exploration (inner work), and relevant aspects of current consciousness research. A special focus is placed on the ethical dimension of teaching: What does it mean to be present as a yoga teacher today—clear, compassionate, responsible? This module creates space for personal reflection, shared
Discussion and the development of a grounded, contemporary attitude in teaching.

20 hours – Internship & Lived Experience

Now you'll have the space to put the knowledge you've acquired during your training into practice. You'll teach various sequences in a protected environment. Through practice-oriented exercises and structured feedback, you'll work specifically on your appearance, clarity, presence, and teaching skills. The focus is on personal growth, authenticity, and embodiment. The module encourages you to become visible, transform insecurities, and take your place as a teacher with growing confidence. The internship is an essential step toward professional security—and at the same time, an experiential space for self-reflection, courageous development, and genuine connection.
