In Mandala Flow we move in dynamic, flowing asanas, just like you are used to in Vinyasa or gentle morning yoga. The only difference is that we will take up the entire mat and look in a circular motion in all four directions. You can expect a varied practice that is suitable for beginners and advanced users.
Let yourself be surprised!
(called yogic sleep or conscious sleep)
With Yoga Nidra you slip into a deeply relaxing state between being awake and sleeping. Your body lies motionless in Savasana (relaxation position on your back, preferably in bed), but your mind is awake. The practice lasts approximately 45 minutes. We start with a pranayama (breathing technique) and then move on to deep relaxation, in which we consciously focus on each individual part of the body and thus release all tension.
A combination of meditation, self-hypnosis, mental training and progressive muscle relaxation.
I will guide you through a varied yoga flow in which we place particular focus on the four elements. Matching water, fire, earth and air, we will practice asanas that will let you feel the elements deeply. The practice will be powerful and relaxing at the same time. We will also try out a little Tai Chi.
Vinyasa Yoga is a powerful form of yoga in which the different yoga positions, called asanas, flow smoothly into one another. This is the synchronization of dynAmish movements and breathing in the foreground. In this interplay of strength and stretching, tension and relaxation, we promote strength, endurance, balance, mobility and inner peace.
This form of yoga is suitable for people with both physical and emotional/mental disabilities. Whether able to walk, restricted or in a wheelchair. The majority of the lesson takes place on the chair, so we work on mobility, inner peace and serenity. You are very welcome if you feel addressed and simply want to do something for yourself. The age range is broad, guideline: 50 - 95 years.
Bring movement and breathing into harmony powerfully and dynamically. The name says it all, you'll start sweating!
Through yoga, breathing and relaxation exercises we will improve body and sensory perception. Through meditation and mindfulness exercises we promote concentration and absorption. We work on holistic body awareness with fun and games.
