Of course, everything is voluntary – because it's YOUR TIME. Your time, just for you. For me, this Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatment was one of the best times of my entire life. I was able to let go of so much weight and get to know and strengthen my body in a whole new way. And for the very first time in my life, I loved myself unconditionally.

7 days - 1,600 EUR
14 days - 3,000 EUR
21 days - 4,500 EUR

The prices are a rough guide for you. They are based on single room occupancy, which I highly recommend for such a beautiful, in-depth process.

Q&A

India tour in the south of the country
questions and answers

When does the tour start? What is the latest time I should arrive?

We start together on 19.10.2025 around noonFlights to Bangalore usually arrive at night, so you should depart no later than October 18, 2025.
If you arrive early in the morning on the 19th, we will personally pick you up from the airport. This is included in the price.

The night from October 18th to 19th is not included in the price. Please let us know if you would like to spend this night in our hotel; the cost is approximately 30 euros.

Can I arrive earlier?

If you'd like to arrive a day, two days, or more earlier, you're welcome to book our shared hotel. We'd be happy to take care of this for you. Please let us know, and we'll take care of it.
The costs for overnight stays must be borne by the guest.

Are there single rooms?*

Yes, but only four in total. Feel inside and see if you'd like to share this journey with another soul in the room.

What additional costs should I expect?

To give you an idea of the prices: drinks usually cost less than 1 EUR and meals around 2 to 3 EUR, and souvenirs and body treatments such as massages are also very inexpensive.

What preparations do I need to make for my trip to India?

You'll need to apply for a visa. You can apply for this online approximately 30 days in advance. You'll need a recent passport photo. When you register for the trip, I'll send you the necessary information for applying for your online visa. Your passport should be valid for at least six months.

Do I need certain vaccinations and insurance?

No, you don't need that. But check whether and how international health insurance covers you.

What kind of clothes should I pack?
  • long, airy clothing
  • no tank tops or similar, because in India you have to cover yourself relatively well
  • Trekking sandals
  • sneakers
  • Female read persons: no bikini/swimsuit, but long swimwear (scarves and long dresses are fine)
Should I bring a yoga mat?

If you have a lightweight travel yoga mat, please bring it with you. We provide no Additional yoga mats are available on site.

Will all excursions and trips take place together?

We'll be together as a group the entire time, both during the trips and during visits to temples and ashrams. We'll also travel to special places of power and always be together there as a group. Unless someone has a strong desire to withdraw and would rather explore alone, the foundation is usually being together.

What will the daily routine be like? Will there be yoga sessions and meditations?

We'll visit a total of five destinations. Typically, we'll travel every three days. We'll meditate every day. We're aiming for group yoga classes every other day. This depends on the space available and the local weather.
On days when we are in one place, we practice yoga and meditation, and travel to temples and ashrams.

When we stay overnight at the ashram, we experience the entire ashram routine. This includes yoga and meditation sessions, as well as readings, which are taught not by us, but by the monks and ashram residents.
The days will be well-structured, yet each day can be different. Therefore, we'll give ourselves room for change and adaptation. Especially because not everything always goes according to plan in India, and you can let go of many expectations :-)

What will our route be?

- 19/20 October Bangalore (1 night)
- 20 - 23 October Tiruvannamalai (3 nights)
- 23-26 October Madurai (3 nights)
- 26 - 28 October Suruli (2 nights)
- 28 - 31 October: Neyyar Dam (3 nights)
- 31.10./01.11. Kovalam (1 night)

Will we be in the car/travel a lot?

Yes. India is a huge country. Covering the distances will take time. We've done our best to plan everything as smoothly as possible. The car journeys are a wonderful way to observe the passing towns and villages and use the time for reflection and integration.

Do you get to know the country and its people authentically on the tour or is it a classic “tourist trip”?

Because we'll be traveling with Kumara, an Indian, he'll take us to his hometown. We'll meet his grandmother and aunts and also visit the local school. It's truly special to be so close to the people. Therefore, Kumara is a tremendous asset to this trip.

How can I communicate with others before the trip?

We create a WhatsApp group well in advance of the trip.

Our three golden tips:
  1. Flexibility invites lightness
  2. Free yourself from all expectations
  3. Open yourself up to Mama India, with all her teachings and unexpected changes.
